A artista visual Yohana Oizumi, natural de Rubiataba/ GO, vive e trabalha em São Paulo. Graduada em Artes Visuais pelo Centro Universitário Belas Artes de São Paulo (2019). Prioriza em seus estudos a vivência e observação da transformação de materialidades e de si mesma. Através da performance, desenho, fotografia e escultura ela propõe provocações de possíveis leituras a respeito de projeções sensoriais do desconstruir, reconstruir, e ressignificar.
Contemplada pelo EDITAL FAMA Meios e Processos e finalista do PRÊMIO DASARTES 2021. Participa de exposições nacionais e internacionais como no SUBSOLO LABORATÓRIO DE ARTES, Galeria Ocupa, CAAA, MUBA, Instituto Tomie Ohtake Núcleo de Cultura, Goethe Institut e NEXT MUSEUM IO.

Yohana Oizumi is a Brazilian visual artist who lives and works in São Paulo. In 2019 she graduated from the University Center of Fine Arts in São Paulo.
Her research is focused on the resistance of certain materials and through the interaction until exhaustion of the material and or self has been obtained and apart from this she is very attentive in observing connections through touch between the simple everyday materials and her inner self. Though performance, drawing, photography and sculpture, an environment is created full of possibilities about sensory projections of deconstructing, reconstructing, and reframing.
Awarded a place in the residency FAMA Meios e Processos 2020 and was a finalist of PRIZE DASARTES 2021. Continuously participating in exhibitions such as; SUBSOLO LABORATÓRIO DE ARTES, MUBA, Casa Contemporânea, Instituto Tomie Ohtake Núcleo de Cultura, Goethe Institut (Brazil). Gallery Ocupa and CAAA (Portugal). NEXT MUSEUM IO (Germany).
